St. Augustine Beach FCCE renourishment delayed

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, announced today an immediate halt to its current beach renourishment activities within the Anastasia State Park reach of its St. Augustine Beach, St. Johns County Shore Protection Project.

USACE awards $32.4 million contract for re-nourishment of Duval Co. beaches

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District awarded a $32.4 million contract to Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., LLC, of Houston, Texas, for re-nourishment of approximately 10 miles of the Duval Co. Atlantic shoreline.

USACE Jacksonville announces contract award for rehabilitation of Brevard Co. Mid and South Reach Shore Protection Projects

Jacksonville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, awarded a $47.6 million contract Sept. 29 to The Dutra Group of San Rafael, California, to execute a Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies (FCCE) rehabilitation of the Mid and South Reach segments of the Brevard Co., Florida, federal shore protection projects.

USACE Jacksonville awards contract for renourishment of Vilano Beach; sand placement to begin in September

USACE Jacksonville announced the award of a $20.2 million contract June 30, 2023, to Weeks Marine Inc. of Covington, La., for emergency renourishment of the St. Johns County Coastal Storm Risk Management Project (Vilano Beach).
