The South Florida Restoration Program Office is located near our partners at the South Florida Water Management District and the Palm Beach International Airport. It provides the Jacksonville District with a forward location close to the Everglades restoration projects, Lake Okeechobee and many Corps operations. Stakeholders and Tribal representatives work closely with team members located in South Florida, including the Deputy District Commander for South Florida, the Tribal Liaison, the Chief of the Multi-projects branch and the Chief of the Central Everglades Branch, who leads the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP), which is the heart of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP).
