The Herbert Hoover Dike Area Office (HAO) is located in Wellington, Florida and is one of four Jacksonville District Area Offices located in the State of Florida. The HAO consists of three project offices and a lab: HHD Project Office North, Central and South, and the HHD Government Quality Assurance Lab.  HHD's area of responsibility covers all of Lake Okeechobee within Glades, Hendry, Palm Beach, Martin and Okeechobee counties.
