Lake Okeechobee, Fla. -- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District and the South Florida Water Management District will host a Western Everglades Restoration Project (WERP) Open House Dec. 13 and 14, 2023. The purpose of the event is to enable meaningful dialogue between our Stakeholders and Project Team members on the proposed WERP Project features. Both events will be identical, we are hosting in two locations to provide opportunity for greater participation.
