A long-reach excavator “demucks” an area near Culvert 1A while replacing the water control structure between Moore Haven and Clewiston. Jacksonville District has two ongoing culvert replacement projects, and awarded a contract for a third project in September. In total, 32 water control structures are expected to be removed, replaced, or abandoned over the next six years.
