Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF REGIONAL GENERAL PERMIT (RGP) SAJ-14. SUB-AQUEOUS UTILITY AND TRANSMISSION LINES IN FLORIDA. The Jacksonville District is proposing reissuance and updates to RGP SAJ-14 (sub-aqueous utility and transmission lines in Florida). Updates to the permit special conditions for these RGPs will address protection of threatened and endangered species as well as other regulatory program requirements.     Lee County, Ankush Gulati, Fort Myers, Florida PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is commercial development. Overall: The overall project purpose is to construct a specialized medical facility with associated parking, utilities, surface water management system and landscaping.

  • Regional General Permit SAJ-13 SAJ-2005-09320 (RGP-JCP)

    PROPOSED RE-ISSUANCE OF REGIONAL GENERAL PERMIT (RGP) SAJ-13. AERIAL TRANSMISSION LINES IN FLORIDA. The Jacksonville District is proposing reissuance and updates to the RGP SAJ-13 (Aerial Transmission Lines in Florida). Updates to the permit special conditions for this RGP will address protection of threatened and endangered species as well as other regulatory program requirements. The proposed RGP will retain the identification number “SAJ-13” and will include work currently authorized by the existing RGP.     Collier County. Park Shore Landings. Naples, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is to re-configure the dock portion of a private marina and to replace a damaged seawall. Overall: The overall project purpose is to re-configure 33 of the existing 36 boat slips; the remaining 4 slips would be replaced with a floating dock and kayak launch to better suit the needs of the residents. The project would also consist of replacing 900 feet of damaged seawall to prevent erosion and storm surge impacts while providing for the safety of the residents.
