    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, announces the availability of a proposed Finding of No Significant Impact and draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) for the stockpile beach placement of sand from maintenance dredging of the Ponce de Leon inlet and Intracoastal Waterway (IWW) in its vicinity in Volusia County, Florida, for public review and comment.

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, has begun maintenance dredging of sections of the Ponce de Leon Inlet and nearby sections of the Intracoastal Waterway. The USACE dredging vessel Murden is expected to remove approximately 60,000 cubic yards of shoaling material over a 40-day period.
