Mobilization of construction equipment will start the week of March 10, 2025.

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 12, 2025) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, (Corps) is preparing an integrated Limited Reevaluation Report (LRR) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document to support modifications being considered for the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) South Phase. The proposed modifications are located within Water Conservation Area 3B (WCA 3B) immediately downstream of the S-631, S-152, S-632, and S-633 structures in the L-67A levee and along the L-67C canal and are necessary to enhance project function as described in the 2014 CEPP Final Project Implementation Report and Environmental Impact Statement (PIR/EIS) and Chief’s Report.

(February 10, 2025) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District (USACE) is preparing a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document for the maintenance dredging and channel re-alignment of portions of the federally authorized and constructed Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) in Nassau County, Florida. The Corps is currently gathering information to define issues and concerns that will be addressed in an analysis to be prepared in compliance with the NEPA in the form of an Environmental Assessment (EA).

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 8, 2025) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District (Corps) and U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) are preparing a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document to evaluate an alternate offshore sand source for renourishments of the Duval County Shore Protection Project (SPP) in Duval County, Florida.  The Corps is currently seeking public comment as they gather information to define issues and concerns that will be addressed in an analysis to be prepared in compliance with the NEPA.
