1. DESCRIPTION
The project includes strategic installation of a water main line in Putnam County (east of the St. Johns River). This project will address the concerns of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) by providing potable water access to residential areas in San Mateo, an unincorporated community in Putnam County. The project consists of the design and construction of approximately 21.5 miles of water main installation.
The project is authorized by Section 5061, Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2007.
