1. DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this study is to address protection of critical infrastructure, reduction of structure damages, and evacuation route protection in response to the risks and effects of coastal storms and associated impacts such as sea level rise, storm surge, and extreme wind and tidal effects.

4. STATUS

This study started its official three-year timeline on 3 October 2018 with the initial scoping meeting and concluded with a signed Chief’s Report on 29 October 2021. The team is currently reviewing ASA(CW) comments prior to transmission to Congress.
