The DROP also highlights locations where local inlet dredging with beneficial reuse of material and coupled with local beach nourishment schedules can be optimized. Funding was not received in 2021 for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) dredging.  If funding is received in FY 2022 dredging will occur within the top 4 shoaling areas of the waterway.
