Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    Monroe County. Sunset Marina LLC. Key West, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is to provide additional boat storage. Overall: The overall purpose is to provide additional boat storage at a large capacity marina in Stock Island, Monroe County, Florida.

    Municipality of Fajardo. Secretary, Department of Natural and Environmental Resources. San Juan. PR. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Artificial Reefs Modules. Overall: To enhance rugosity of the sea bottom, production and aggregation of sport fish species, and increase settlement of coral larvae and other marine biota.

    Lake County. Daniel DiVenanzo. Eustis, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Modification of a commercial marina. Overall: Modification of the Lake Eustis Marina to include an After-the Fact repair of existing dock structures, an After-the-Fact discharge of fill into a dead-end canal, and the construction of new docking structures.

    Charlotte County. EIP IV Credit Co, LLC, Baltimore, Maryland. PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The applicant seeks authorization to restore wetlands and uplands on the 569.80-acre property. The primary goal of the project is to restore native forested wetlands through the cessation of all silvicultural and commercial hunting activities, stabilize natural hydroperiods, remove invasive exotic and nuisance species, and return the natural community structure within the Peace River watershed.

    Hardee County. Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC, Lithia, Florida. PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The applicant seeks authorization to enhance, create, restore, preserve and protect wetlands and uplands on the 1,238.6-acre property. The primary ecological goal of the PMB is to is to preserve, enhance, and/or establish approximately 873.7 acres of wetland and 360.3 acres of upland communities to improve fish and wildlife habitat use and connectivity; increase wetland, floodplain, and riverine function and quality; and improve the overall integrity of the communities within the Peace River Watershed. Please note the approximately 4.6 acres encumbered by existing utility easements are not included in the preservation, enhancement, or establishment acreages above as the easements limit activities that can be undertaken within these areas. Specific restoration objectives include:
