Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    Hillsborough County. Port Tampa Bay. Gibsonton, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Port berth modification to support growing economic demand for consumer goods and materials. Overall: The overall purpose of the project is to enhance Port Tampa Bay operations by expanding berth capacity to accommodate increased vessel traffic, enable streamlined cargo transfers, and support long-term commercial maritime operations.

    Hillsborough County. Port Tampa Bay. Tampa, Fl. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: upland cut basin fill and shoreline stabilization. Overall: The overall purpose of the proposed Metro Port Complex Project is to fill a man-made upland cut basin and stabilize the converted shoreline to support on-going Port Tampa Bay operations.

    Hillsborough County. Asolo Acquisitions & Development. Ruskin, Fl. PROJECT PURPOSE Basic: Multi-family residential water access Overall: To provide the residents of a multi-family development water access to Tampa Bay.
  • SAJ-2024-04226(SP-CM)

    Expiration date: 7/15/2025

    Hillsborough County. City of Plant City. Plant City, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Stormwater treatment. Overall: The purpose of the proposed project is to expand and enhance the functionality of an existing stormwater treatment wetland. To address the dehydration experienced by the original wetland and increase treatment, the project would reconfigure the original wetland cells and add additional treatment wetlands in the center and western portions of the project area. The proposed project would include the addition of highly treated reclaimed water to support wetland habitat creation in the center and western portions and to enhance the hydrology of the reconfigured wetlands in the eastern portion. Reclaimed water would also be supplied to the largest eastern cell to support wetland hydrology in the dry season.
