Updated Nationwide Permit Regional Conditions

Published May 22, 2018
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: The Jacksonville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), has received approval from the South Atlantic Division regarding modifications to the Nationwide Permits (NWPs) Regional Conditions.

BACKGROUND: These modifications to the NWPs Regional Conditions are necessary to address important regional issues relating to jurisdictional waters and wetlands that arose after the close of the original comment period. The South Atlantic Division Engineer has considered the changes in potential individual and cumulative adverse environmental effects that could result from these modifications so that the use of the NWPs in the Jacksonville District, including the Regional Conditions as modified, ensure those individual and cumulative adverse environmental effects are no more than minimal.

The NWPs Regional Conditions are effective and available for use as of May 21, 2018, and replace the previously issued NWPs Regional Conditions dated March 14, 2017. The NWPs Regional Conditions can be found on the Jacksonville District Regulatory web page Source Book under Permitting-Nationwide Permits at the below link:
