Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    Citrus County. City of Crystal River, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is recreation. Overall: The overall project purpose is to provide pedestrian-only water access to bring tourists and general foot traffic and events to the waterfront downtown commercial areas and to enhance the business of existing and potential future commercial enterprises.

    Broward County. CG Hillsboro Shores LLC. Miami. FL. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is to provide water access. Overall: The overall project purpose is to expand an existing marina to provide for larger vessels within northern Broward County.

    Palm Beach County. Benjamin K. Sharfi, as Trustee of the Benjamin Sharfi 2002 Trust. Stuart. FL. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic The basic project purpose is to improve water access to an existing commercial and private marina. Overall: The overall purpose is to improve water access for the existing Buccaneer Marina, in Palm Beach Shores, Palm Beach County Florida.

    Expiration date: 8/27/2021

    Dixie County. Eight Mile Properties, LLC. Mayo, Florida. The Jacksonville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received a complete prospectus proposing the establishment of a mitigation bank. The Corps has posted a full copy of the EMMB prospectus online so that it is available for review by the public.

  • STATE PROGRAMMATIC GENERAL PERMIT VI (SPGP VI)

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) hereby reissues the Department of Army Permit titled State Programmatic General Permit State of Florida. The State Programmatic General Permit (SPGP VI) State of Florida will become effective on July 26, 2021.
