  • Corps of Engineers offers final comment period on Jacksonville Harbor study

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District staff will host two public teleconferences Tuesday, March 18 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. The agenda for each meeting will be the same and will allow full participation from the public. Team members will provide an overview of the final report , respond to questions and receive comments from callers.   • Corps achieves Lake Worth Inlet milestone

    A group of experts from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District, Port of Palm Beach and the local Harbor Pilots Association, achieved a victory when they received approval to release the final Integrated Feasibility Report for the Lake Worth Inlet study, which is now available.     Today marked another significant step for the Mile Point project as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) signed the Project Design Agreement this afternoon during a ceremony at the JAXPORT Talleyrand terminals.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that the Chief of Engineer’s Report has been approved and signed for the Jacksonville Harbor (Mile Point) Navigational Study.
