Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    Escambia County. Parasol West Homeowner's Association. Pensacola, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Marina. Overall: Expand an existing multi-family docking facility on Old River, in Escambia County.

  • REGIONAL GENERAL PERMIT (RGP) SAJ-14 SAJ-2005-09981 (RGP-MDZ)

    Upon recommendation of the Chief of Engineers, pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. § 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. § 1344), general authority is given for activities required for the installation, construction, maintenance, replacement, and repair of subaqueous utility and transmission lines; and, the outfall and intake structures associated with utility lines in all waters of the United States in the State of Florida (where the effluent from the outfall is authorized, conditionally authorized, or specifically exempted by, or otherwise in compliance with regulations issued under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System program (Section 402 of the Clean Water Act).

    Osceola County. Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 5, Deland, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Linear transportation improvements. Overall: The overall project purpose is to construct roadway improvements within the I-4 corridor to reduce congestion, improve traffic operations, and improve public safety in northwestern Osceola County.

    Collier County. FCC Beach and Yacht, LLC. Naples, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Improve watercraft access. Overall: To improve an existing commercial marina to accommodate larger vessels in southern Collier County.

    Pasco County. Moonlight Bay, LLC. New Port Richey, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Construction of a private marina. Overall: Construct a private marina consisting of a launch facility and dry storage for up to 30 vessels on the Pitlachascotee River in Pasco County.
