Effective immediately: public notices are published with only the vicinity map, plan view and cross-section drawing. If you are interested in receiving additional project drawings associated with any public notice, please send an email to the project manager at the email address listed in the public notice.

 

Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    Hillsborough County. PHRD, LLC. Tampa, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: The applicant seeks authorization to rehabilitate, establish and preserve wetlands and uplands on a 173.61-acre site to develop the Bullfrog Creek Mitigation Bank (BFCMB). The primary ecological goal of the BFCMB is to restore and permanently protect the hydrology and wildlife habitat of onsite wetland habitats and adjacent upland buffer habitats while increasing the wetland function of Bullfrog Creek and providing wetland compensatory mitigation to offset Department of Army impacts to aquatic resources in the Tampa Bay watershed.

PROSPECTUS SUMMARY: Pursuant to 33 CFR 332.8(d)(4), the Corps has posted a full copy of the Twin Oaks Mitigation Bank (TOMB) prospectus online so that it is available for review by the public. The prospectus may be downloaded from the Regulatory In-Lieu Fee and Bank Information Tracking System (RIBITS) at web address: https://ribits.usace.army.mil . PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The applicant seeks authorization to restore, enhance, preserve and protect wetlands and uplands, creating conditions similar to those that historically existed on the 747.91-acre property which includes approximately 451.41 acres of wetlands, 26.07 acres of surface waters and 270.43 acres of uplands.
