JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville District is seeking feedback on the implementation of Lake Okeechobee Recovery Operations during the 2024-2025 dry season.
Information provided will be part of an After Action Review (AAR) that will document:
- the factors and processes leading up to the decision to implement Recovery Operations
- the operational implementation of Recovery Operations and subsequent monitoring
- a systems conditions assessment of Lake Okeechobee and the region following Recovery Operations
Coordination with our many stakeholders was instrumental in the decision to undertake Recovery Operations as well as the assessment of conditions during implementation. As we look to capture the successes and those things that could be improved, continued communication is imperative. The AAR will provide crucial information to aid in the decision-making process for any future Recovery Operations.

The survey asks for Recovery Operations feedback on: Lake Okeechobee ecology, St. Lucie Estuary ecology, Caloosahatchee River ecology, Lake Worth Lagoon ecology, Everglades ecology, water supply, navigation, flood risk management and recreation.
