U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bostwick Bomb Target Proposed Plan Public Meeting in Palatka, Fl.

(May 20, 2025) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Jacksonville District will be hosting a Proposed Plan Public Meeting for the Bostwick Bomb Target Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDS) on May 27, at the Bostwick Community Center, 1252 Tillman Street, Palatka, FL, 32177, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

USACE will present the Proposed Plan and have a public comment period from May 27 through June 11. To submit comments during the comment period, please email FUDS.Florida@usace.army.mil, call 800.710.5184, or write to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ATTN: FUDS Program (PMM-E), 701 San Marco Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207. FUDS Sites are properties that were under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Defense and owned by, leased by, or otherwise possessed by the United States (including governmental entities that are the legal predecessors of the Department of Defense or its components), that were transferred from the Department of Defense prior to October 17, 1986. The Defense Environmental Restoration Program-Formerly Used Defense Sites was established to evaluate and, if necessary, remediate these properties.
