Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

SAJ-2014-02181-TMF - 8/25/2014: Polk County. Fox Branch Mitigation Holdings, LLC, Atlanta, Georgia. PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The applicant seeks authorization to enhance, restore, preserve and protect wetlands and uplands, creating conditions similar to those that historically existed on the 1084-acre property. The primary ecological goal of the FBRMB is to enhance the hydrology along approximately 330 acres of deep swamps and shallow swamps associated with the Fox Branch floodplain. Additional goals include restoring an appropriate plant community structure and/or hydroperiod to 52 acres of freshwater marsh and enhancing the hydroperiod of approximately 13 acres of shallow swamps and approximately one acre of low pine flatwoods. In addition to the wetland enhancements described above, a significant goal for the FBRMB is restoring approximately 217 acres of improved pastures to native pine flatwoods habitat. Finally, for intact preservation areas within the FBRMB, the goal would be to implement an active land management program within 209 acres of pine and mixed hardwood community, 213 acres of mesic pine flatwoods, 2 acres of live oak hammock, 18 acres of low pine flatwoods, 3 acres of wet prairie, and 24 acres of cypress wetlands in order to optimize the long-term maintenance and sustainability of these communities.
