Jacksonville Commander Speaks at Everglades Coalition
Col. James Booth, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District commander, listens as moderator Cara Cap, the senior Everglades program manager for the National Parks Conservation Association, introduces the panel for the 37th Everglades Coalition Conference plenary session. The federal panel held Jan. 8 discussed federal policy and funding opportunities and provided a chance to review some of the momentum Everglades restoration has enjoyed recently, including two ribbon cutting ceremonies recognizing completed projects and a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled in February 2022.
