USACE responds with support to Hurricane Fiona
Generators await transport in Puerto Rico. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers has received FEMA Mission Assignments (MAs) for Regional Activation and Temporary Emergency Power in response to Hurricane Fiona. Emergency Personnel from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District has deployed a Temporary Emergency Power Planning and Response Team, Soldiers from the 249th Engineer Battalion, team leaders and assistant team leaders, as well as subject matter experts in logistics, temporary power, infrastructure assessment and debris.
