Okeechobee Waterway (OWW) dredging - Crossroads to St. Lucie Lock and Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District opens public comment on the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and proposed Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the operation and maintenance dredging of the Okeechobee Waterway (OWW) from the intersection of the OWW and the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW), locally known as the Crossroads, to the St. Lucie Lock and Dam in Martin County, Florida. Public comment will be accepted through July 15, 2020.

 

The Draft EA and proposed FONSI for the operation and maintenance dredging of the Okeechobee Waterway (OWW) from the intersection of the OWW and the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW), locally known as the Crossroads, to the St. Lucie Lock and Dam, with Dredged material placement in DMMAs O-7 and O-23, located in Martin County, are available for review:
