TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: The Jacksonville Permits Section, Regulatory Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, will be hosting a consultant workshop to share information on how to better navigate the regulatory program and improve submittals of information allowing for more timely evaluations of applications.

DATE AND TIME: November 5, 2019; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Directions to the site are as follows: From Interstate-95 take Exit 353B and head east on West Union Street. Proceed until the intersection of Arlington Expressway and take that exit. Proceed until Exit 10A and take that exit. Turn left and proceed on University Boulevard North until you reach your destination located on the left side of the roadway.

PROPOSED WORKSHOP: The Corps will host a consultant workshop that will focus on Section 404 topics for the first half of the day and then Section 10 topics for the second half of the day. Lunch will be available for purchase at the dining facilities on the Jacksonville University Campus. Some of the topics at the workshop include developing a comprehensive application, avoidance/minimization, alternate site analysis, mitigation, and regulatory updates.
