4. STATUS

The last O&M dredging contract, combined with the civil works contract, was completed in the summer of 2022. It removed approximately 53,000 cubic yards from the TTB and TAC portions of the Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU), returning these areas to their authorized depth. An additional contract is being planned for award in the summer of 2023 to dredge the TTB and TAC portions of NOTU in response to impacts from hurricanes Ian and Nicole. All NOTU dredging work is an option within the larger civil works contract.
