1. DESCRIPTION
Maintenance of a stone breakwater 1,200 feet long between Point Morrillos and Cocinera Rock; channel 25 feet deep, 400 feet wide, flared to 650 feet wide at ocean entrance, and widened for inner 650 feet to form a maneuvering area of the same depth and 900 feet wide fronting the proposed deep-water terminal.

4. STATUS
The harbor received damages from Hurricanes Irma & Maria. As a result, Arecibo Harbor received funding to remove shoaled material resulting from the storm impacts. The contract to dredge approximately 110K cubic yards of material was awarded in January 2020. This effort was completed in September 2020.
