Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    Hillsborough County. Victor Ballestas; Westshore Marina Ventures, LLC. Miami, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Expand an existing marina. Overall: Install new finger piers to add slips to an existing marina, and replace three piers with smaller piers.

    Hillsborough County. Feeding America Tampa Bay, Inc., Tampa, Florida. SP Tampa Causeway Partners, LLC., Indianapolis, Indiana. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: To construct warehousing facilities. Overall: On the eastern portion of the site, to develop a multi-use warehouse logistics center to coordinate and provide food to those in need in the Tampa Bay area; on the western portion of the site, to construct warehousing facilities to serve demand generated by the nearby Port Tampa Bay.

    Hillsborough County. Tampa Electric Company. Tampa, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is waterway observation. Overall: The overall project purpose is to provide an extended observation platform for an existing manatee viewing center at the project site.

    Hillsborough County. Carolyn Thatcher; Tampa Bay Marina, Inc. Tampa, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Dredging & reconfiguration of a marina with new boat slips & boat lifts. Overall: The overall purpose of the project is to continue the marina renovations approved by the Corps in 2014 and never built, dredge the marina basin, construct 6 additional boat slips (89 boat slips total) and install 71 boat lifts.

    Hillsborough County. : Florida Department of Transportation, District 7, Tampa, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Linear Transportation. To upgrade the safety and efficiency of the existing I-275, SR 589 and SR 60 corridors that service the Tampa urban area while maintaining access to surrounding communities. The project is to relieve traffic congestion, improve system linkages and multimodal connections.
