Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

SAJ-2017-02025-MLH - 9/29/2017: Polk County. Baby Groot LLC, Tampa, Florida. PROSPECTUS SUMMARY: Pursuant to 33 CFR 332.8(d)(4), the Corps has posted a full copy of the MLMB prospectus online so that it is available for review by the public. The prospectus may be downloaded from the Regulatory In-Lieu Fee and Bank Information Tracking System (RIBITS) at web address: https://ribits.usace.army.mil.

SAJ-2017-01640 (SP-TLO) - 8/29/2017: Broward County. Florida Department of Transportation – District 4, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is linear transportation. Overall: The overall project purpose is to provide additional capacity in order to accommodate the projected traffic demands, alleviate traffic congestion on local crossroads, facilitate a hurricane evacuation and other emergency evacuation route, improve highway safety by addressing speed differences among lanes at interchanges and lane weaving on cross streets, and provide multi-modal transportation options within the eastern corridor of Broward County.

SAJ-2017-02064 (SP-TLO) - 8/23/2017: Lee County. Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) – District 1, Bartow, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is linear transportation. Overall: The overall project purpose is to provide additional capacity, improve transportation safety, enhance emergency evacuation capabilities, and increase regional connectivity of a critical roadway network which would accommodate the projected future population and regional growth, and meet the needs of the community, the central corridor of Lee County, and the north/central corridor of Collier County, Florida.

SAJ-2010-03306 (SP-RLT) - 7/19/2017: Duval County. Florida Department of Transportation, District 2, Lake City, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Linear transportation. Overall: The overall project purpose is construction of a new two lane roadway beginning at Lannie Road at the Ethel Road intersection and ending at the western terminus of Arnold Road to provide direct access to the Jacksonville National Cemetery from I-95 in Duval County.

PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is linear transportation Overall: The overall project purpose is to improve the existing roadway and travel conditions through addition of travel lanes and modifications to All Electronic Tolling, in order to meet the growing traffic and capacity demands within the central eastern corridor of Palm Beach County.
