Public Notice Notifications

The Jacksonville District currently has five categories of public notice notification mailing lists. If you wish to receive email notifications when new public notices are added to this page, please send a request to Regulatory Webmaster.  Each category is described below. Be sure to specify which list(s) you want to be included on.

Florida - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the State of Florida.

Antilles - This includes all public notices for projects being reviewed for Standard Permits within the Antilles area (this includes Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands).

Tropical Storms & Other Emergencies - These public notices provide information on procedures for emergency permitting requirements due to specific tropical storm events or other emergency situations.

Special Issues - These are public notices that involve the Regulatory program but which are generally not limited to one particular geographic area. These would include public notices for the establishment or modification of Restricted Areas/Danger Zones, re-issuance of General Permits or Nationwide Permits, changes to guidance and policies, etc.

Administrative Penalty - These public notices provide information associated with Administrative Penalties. An Administrative Penalty can be assessed to address violations associated with issued Department of the Army permits.

    Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources Department. Bradenton, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: Waterway access. Overall: Improvements to the South Coquina boat ramp facility to improve public waterway access in Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

    Clay County. White Owl Management., LLC, Concord, Ohio. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: The basic project purpose is residential development. Overall: The overall project purpose is to construct a single-family residence with associated infrastructure in Fleming Island, Clay County, Florida.

  • SAJ-2020-03757 (SP-BAW)

    Expiration date: 2/5/2021

    Brevard County. David Zack. Rockledge, Florida. PROJECT PURPOSE: Basic: single family dock and shoreline stabilization. Overall: To stabilize the existing shoreline with a rock revetment as well as construct a single-family dock within a man-made canal at an existing residence in Brevard County.

  • PUBLIC NOTICE FOR FEDERAL REGISTER NOTICE

    On January 13, 2021, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) published a final rule in the Federal Register (86 FR 2744) announcing the reissuance of 12 existing nationwide permits (NWPs) and four new NWPs, as well as the reissuance of NWP general conditions and definitions with some modifications. These 16 NWPs will go into effect on March 15, 2021, and will expire on March 14, 2026.
