    Benefits navigation and Egmont Key JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Historic Egmont Key will soon receive critical sand thanks to maintenance on the Tampa Harbor channel. The small island has experienced large-scale erosion and structural damage on its western shoreline.
  • Palm Beach County Beach Erosion Control Project work update

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District announced today that construction activities are ongoing with the Palm Beach County Beach Erosion Control Project. The work is in response to impacts from Hurricane Sandy’s passage in 2012. Beach nourishment provides significant storm damage protection benefits for upland structures in addition to restoring shorebird and marine turtle habitat.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville District has issued a public notice in relation to an application for a Department of the Army permit, submitted by Bay County Tourist Development Council, Panama City Beach, Fla.
