Wetlands aren't always wet!
According to the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension Services, Sea Oxeye Daisy is native to salt water wetlands in south Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, and is commonly associated with mangroves. It fills swales and ditches on barrier islands and will endure brackish conditions and diverse soils.
