The Aquatic Plant Control Research Program is the Nation’s only federally-authorized research program directed to develop technology for the management of non-indigenous aquatic plant species. The program provides effective, economical, and environmentally compatible methods for assessing and managing problem aquatic plants. Aquatic Plant Control Research Program publications include technology transfer, including information bulletins, peer reviewed journal articles, conference publications, research briefs, conference publications, technical reports, and technical notes.
The Aquatic Plant Information System provides information on the identification and management of over 60 species of native and introduced aquatic and wetland plant species. In addition, identification strategies for common management procedures are included for chemical, biological, and mechanical technologies.
