1. DESCRIPTION

The ocean shoreline of St. Johns County is approximately 42 miles long. The St. Johns County feasibility study includes critically eroded shoreline in South Ponte Vedra Beach, Vilano Beach, and Summerhaven. Extreme erosion north of the St. Augustine Inlet due to the 2004 and 2005 Hurricane seasons has compounded the need for completion of the study.
