4. STATUS

An Operation and Maintenance dredging event of Miami Harbor was anticipated in 2020 due to possible impacts from Hurricane Irma. The shoal material encountered didn’t require immediate dredging because it was not directly impacting navigation. Maintenance dredging has been postponed and will occur if any shoaling starts impacting navigation.
